And I know that we can be so amazing
And being in your life is gonna change me
And now I can see every single possibility
And someday I know it'll all turn out
And I'll work to work it out
Promise you, kid, I'll give more than I get
Than I get, than I get, than I get
Oh, you know it'll all turn out
And you'll make me work so we can work to work it out
And I promise you kid to give so much more than I get
Yeah, I just haven't met you yet
I just haven't met you yet
Oh, promise you, kid
To give so much more than I get
I feel connected to her, and have already begun promising her the world, and I know I'll do whatever it takes to keep her safe and happy. Maybe I've never seen her face or felt her little hand wrapped around my finger, but I feel like I know her already! There are times when I can feel her little swirls and twirls and I just know she's trying to tell me something. And while it may not be the same kind of communication I'm used to, I somehow understand it! Yet, if Ben were to ask me what each little jab or karate chop meant, I couldn't quite put it into English. Does this make sense to anyone else? Here she is, 26 weeks along!
Do you see who's creeping on the photo today?
It's Donny! I just couldn't keep him off the sink! I think he was jealous of my white sweater...
