Florida

I spent an amazing week in Florida with my gorgeous friend Jamie. The main reason for the trip was to sponsor Jamie's daughter Julianna at her baptism.

But I decided to make a proper trip out of it and spent 6 days there! Leaving the kiddos and Ben in IL was difficult, but the wonderful invention of FaceTime made things easier! The girls split their time between grandparents and their daddy, and we're happy with all of the special attention they received.

Meanwhile, I got to hang out with Jamie, her husband Jason & his cousin Michael, her son Justin, her mom Siri, and her niece Adrianna. And of course Jules. 

The weather was perfect at sunny and 75-80 every day - especially wonderful since we were an hour late taking off due to the plane needing de-icing in Bloomington! We shopped, ate, relaxed, went to the beach, hung out with friends, and I even got to meet up with my friends Lilly & Josie (and their parents)! The girls enjoyed FaceTime with Charlotte & Natalie, too!

I took just a handful of pictures - just too busy snuggling the new baby and enjoying my time there! A huge THANK YOU! to Jamie & Jason for inviting me, to my parents, Ben's parents, and Ben for keeping my own babies happy & healthy while I was gone! I'm already dreaming of my next chance to visit. :-)
