Summer 2017 Recap

My alarm is set, Charlotte's lunchbox is packed, and clothes have been set out for the first day of school tomorrow. Charlotte will skip off into first grade, and Natalie will have one last day at home with me before she starts PreK on Monday. We have had a lot of fun this summer, but I'm so happy that the kids are excited to go back to school! Here is a look back at some of our favorite summer highlights.
Disney World
Treasure Island
Hanging out with Ian and Luke a couple times each week
Aunt Bob's visit

Swim lessons
Peoria Play House
Nat turned FOUR
Charlotte lost all of her teeth
Sofia came for a sleepover
Swimming at Grandma & Grandpa's house
Charlotte learned to ride a bike
Meeting Great-Aunt Carol's new puppy, Miko
Charlotte turned SIX
Peoria Zoo with Grandma and Grandpa
Daisy Scout Campout
Catching the Ice Cream Truck
State Fair with Mr. Ron
End-of-summer weenie roast
And today was Metcalf Move-In where we got to meet the teachers, drop off school supplies, and get all hyped up for the first day of school. We had a wonderful summer - I'm sad to see it end. But I'm also looking forward to so many great adventures at school this year, too!
