Father's Day

As a teeny, tiny token of our love and appreciation for the best Daddy in the world, Charlotte and I presented Ben with a 3-photo frame containing these photos side-by-side for Father's Day.

My sister helped me with the photos. It's almost impossible to entertain her enough to smile for a photo while trying to hold the camera steady and snap at the right time. Bobbi Jo was a HUGE help. These were the other attempts...

And one other attempt on the steps of Waveland Museum. There was a group of women setting up for a wedding nearby & my sister & I looked like total idiots dancing around & making ridiculous noises in an attempt to get Charlotte to smile for the camera. Only after the fact did we realize we took the photos landscape style instead of the portrait style the frame I bought was made for... oops.
Charlotte LOVES her Daddy - and with good reason! He's patient, loving, funny, playful, responsive, intelligent, and kind. When he's not feeding her, cleaning up after her, or working hard to provide for her, you can find him singing to her, pushing her in swings or showing her leaves at the park, taking her to music class, or playing hide-and-seek around the house. I fall in love with him again and again each time her eyes light up at the sight of her Daddy.

Thanks for all you do - we love you, Ben!
