I woke up bright and early (around 5:45) when Natalie woke up with a fever. Poor girl! Doctor thinks she has hand, foot, & mouth disease - a virus that comes with a fever & sores in the throat/mouth, hands & feet. Charlotte had it around this age (and I got it after she had it - ugh), and I'm really hoping Natalie's case is milder. Poor baby just wanted to snuggle with me this morning.
Later in the day, Ben stayed home with Natalie while Charlotte & I went to the Children's Discovery Museum. Charlotte had a ball! She skips around from activity to activity with such excitement and enthusiasm. It was a lot of fun. She found some tangrams today that we've never seen before and she loved them! She was so proud of herself every time she finished a picture!
We scrapped plans of going out for Mexican for dinner since Natalie was still under the weather, and instead got take out Qdoba - yummy! Ben got me a carrot cake and I let the girls lick off the bottoms of the candles. I guess Natalie had a hard time determining the difference between frosting and wax! :o)
Ben took the girls shopping last night & Charlotte & Natalie picked out a lovely set of new pajamas for me. But the big surprise was the new laptop Ben got for me!! My old MacBook has been dying a slow and painful death for a long time now & he "squirreled away" (his words!) the money to replace it! I was so surprised!!
